CS student • Software Engineer • Athlete
I'm a Computer Science student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a strong passion for both technology and athletics. Before my studies, I served as Deputy Commander of a Shaldag-class Warship in the Israeli Navy, where I gained leadership and operational experience under pressure.
I have a strong foundation in software engineering and I love building products end-to-end. This year, I completed a semester at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada, as part of a student exchange program.
In addition to my studies, I am a competitive long-distance & XC runner and coach. I revived the Hebrew University’s running team and continue to lead it today. As an athlete, I placed third in the 5k road Israeli National Championships 2025 and was part of the team that won the Canadian Cross Country National Championship.
• Experienced with Python, C, C++, Java, Bash and more.
• Particularly interested in low-level systems, cybersecurity, AI, and ML.
Engineered a secure VPN between client and server using Diffie–Hellman key exchange and AES-CBC encryption with HMAC authentication. The system mitigates man-in-the-middle, delay, and replay attacks, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and reliable communication.
Implemented a user-level threading library in C++ with preemptive round-robin scheduling, custom thread control blocks (TCBs), and manual context switching via sigsetjmp
/siglongjmp
. Supports thread creation, initialization, sleep, blocking, resuming, and safe termination - all in user space without kernel involvement.
Built a job aggregation tool that pulls listings from multiple APIs, including a non-documented Airtable source (Goonzile). Parsed hidden URLs and dynamic headers from HTML and JavaScript to access raw data. This module is part of a broader platform that matches resumes to job descriptions and helps users tailor their applications.

2025 – Present
Provided mentorship to high school students in computer science and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Led educational sessions and guided student projects as part of Israel's elite national tech initiative.
Led crew operations on a SHALDAG fast patrol boat with responsibility for real-time decision-making, safety, and mission execution. Gained hands-on leadership, teamwork, and high-pressure operational experience.
